Idebenone: the super-antioxidant molecule
Idebenone is a relatively small molecule, which allows for its deep penetration of the skin.
Idebenone embeds itself in skin membranes and then it has a double action:
- Blocking and scavenging environmentally generated free radicals
- Penetrating and neutralizing internally generated free radicals
